Interests

Playing + watching sports, reading, hiking, water activities, scrap-booking, traveling, deep dives into celebrity Instagram accounts, and taking walks with my golden retriever, Breeze, and my calico kitty, Cleo.

Background and education

I received my BAA degree in Recreation, Parks, and Leisure Services Administration from Central Michigan University in 2012, and my MPA from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. My first full-time role was as a facilities coordinator, and later the assistant director of facilities, managing the Student Fitness Center and McCormick Hall with Campus Recreation at Illinois State University.

In 2018 I relocated to Iowa with my family and obtained my Iowa real estate salesperson license, and worked with the Lepic-Kroeger, REALTORS team here in Iowa City for three years. Though I enjoyed working in real estate, the opportunity arose for me to get back to my roots and work with the Division of Student Life here at the University of Iowa. In July 2019, I began my role as a marketing coordinator within Student Life Communications working with the health + well-being departments in the division: Recreational Services, Student Disability Services, Student Health, Student Wellness, and University Counseling Service.
